Memberships
At Stronger Longer, we realise that for you to get the results you want you must feel capable and successful in what you are doing. We take time in setting you up with a safe and solid way to lift, we supervise everything that you are doing so that you always feel that you are doing things properly, and we adjust your programs regularly to suit where you are in life.
Strong Women
These sessions are a space for the growing community of women who want to feel strong and energized. Heavy weight training has the effect of elevating moods through serotonin stimulation. It is great for increasing metabolism through building lean body tissue, as well as regulating hormones. Postmenopausal women use these sessions to improve bone density. It is a great place for a chat and a laugh as well!
Before Work Strength
These are our general strength sessions that are open to all ages and genders, providing that you are not more suited to the Never too Late program (below). Priority is given to those who are working during normal business hours. These vibrant sessions are a mixture of serious strength training within light-hearted atmosphere. Forming strong communities is as important as building strong bodies and is one of the secrets to a lifetime of wellbeing.
Never Too Late
Our Never too Late program was created for those people who feel they have left it too late to even know where to start to improve their health and those recovering from serious illness or surgery.
Strength training has perhaps the greatest benefit for those people who feel frail or are suffering the effects of ‘age-related’ illness. Research has shown that, with strength training, illness such as osteoporosis, diabetes, cancer, arthritis, mobility disorders, depression and even early stages of memory loss show improved outcomes.
These sessions are smaller in group numbers, with specialised programming to suit whatever individual needs you may have.
How Membership Works
You can chose between a 12 month or 12 week membership depending on your circumstances. Your membership can be paid in full up front or you can elect to have regular payments deducted from your bank account.
You will join a training group that best suits your needs and availability, that you will train with twice a week. Group training with personalised 1:1 coaching is the best way to feel supported and accountable as well at feeling part of a great community. We have seen so many friendships blossom during our time strength coaching using this model. It has been stated on many occasions that this is ‘my social outing for the week and I get strong as well’.
